Childhood Daez...
I miss the old Yaohan(e name of e
shopping mall b4 it was being named
as Plaza Singapura)! I was telling
baby how much I enjoyed being there
during my childhood days... Mom will
always bring us there on sunday.
Usually, we(me & my bro) would
dashed to this game arcade called
"Whimsy"! Mom would gave each of
us some tokens... Bro will usually
proceed to his video games corner
while starts my tix collection trip. I
rem I love those stupid games like
hitting e animal machine, throwing
plastic balls into e clown's big mouth,
shooting water to save e building on
fire, fishing & etc... I would play those
games which dispensed many game
tickets. Why? Cos these game tickets
enable me to exchange into some
cheapo gifts like soft toy, colour pencils
& etc by e end of e trip...! Mom will
usually rushed us to finish up our tokens
asap cos she's bored waiting mah...
Afterwhich, she would always buy alot
of "Yong Tau Foo" from tis specific
stall which they served food in a big
styrofoam bowl! For those tat went to
e old yaohan b4... you should rem tat
there wasn't much tables ard. Most of
e ppl would hold their bowl & sit
down on the long benches to eat their
food. Mom would usually fed me cos
she dun wan mi to dirty my beautiful
dress! Children behaved in e same
way... so I will either walk ard e
benches to irritate ppl or loiter ard e
pancake stall to see those aunties
making fish-shaped red bean
pancake! I rem those pancake
costed $0.80 each & I'll always
ask mom to get mi one! ^_*
After lunch, mom will proceed to her
shopping spree where me & my bro
will start playing hide & sit or start
hitting each other. Mom will always
get irritated & give us warning. We
would stop and start to act like an
adult... flipping clothes & touch
wateva we can touch! Tis is e time
where those salesgal will stare @ us...
lolx! But who cares... we would
always complained to mom tat ours
legs are tired & all sorta excuses lah...
When she claimed we're going home
soon.... we would remind her we have
yet visited e toy section! Normally, we
will try to please, persuade, beg my
mom to buy e lastest released toy! Juz
to be fair... if she agreed to buy for mi,
she would have to buy for my bro too!
Thus she always walk away while we
were chasing after her. So mean rite?
Supermarket is always our last stop...
mom will do her usual marketing to
replenish those dried geoceries while
we were busying choosing our titbits.
I used to fancy those cute packaging
titbits, sukuma drops which comes in
small tin & most impt those small
boxes of cookies which comes wif
free toys! Haha... Mom will always
made our day by buying one of those
for us & home sweet home...
Whoo... Super draggy entry rite? But
tats wat I miss... I realli wish to have a
time machine so tat I can go back to e
past... Growing up seems to be a tough
process to mi... I dislike e stress & fact
tat I have to be on my own physically,
mentally, emotionally & financially.
Haiz... but tats e reason why I come on
earth... To goes thru all the up & down
of life. To feel all e happiness &
unhappiness. And most impt to meet
my parents, family & frens...! K lah...
Shall end my post liao lah....! Byez....
P/S:
Tis is sakuma drops... it used to
come in a red tin during my childhood
days but now it comes in white tin!
Whoever noe where to get tis...
